12V 15/25A 5 Pin Changeover Relay. Ideal for automotive, 4X4 and marine applications.
Normally used for switching between two circuits depending on the relay state - The diode fitted between pins 85 & 86 prevents backfeed and relay chatter caused by some applications
In this type of relay one pin is connected to the main input when the relay is off, when the relay coil is energised the second out put becomes connected and disconnects the other, changing over the circuit, hence the term changeover
