At ALM Electrical Solutions Ltd, we are fully committed to ensuring that our business practices and supply chains are free from modern slavery and human trafficking. This statement outlines the steps we have taken and continue to take to ensure compliance with the Modern Slavery Act 2015.

   We recognise the importance of addressing modern slavery risks, and we are committed to ensuring that slavery, servitude, forced or compulsory labour, and human trafficking do not take place within any part of our business or supply chains.
    

2. Our Business and Supply Chains

   ALM Electrical Solutions Ltd operates within the automotive electrical sector and works with a variety of suppliers that may source their products globally. We understand that certain regions and industries may present a higher risk of modern slavery, and we actively monitor these areas for potential risks.
    

3. Due Diligence Process

   We have implemented the following due diligence processes to identify and mitigate the risk of modern slavery:

   Conducting risk assessments of our suppliers and contractors.
   • Regularly reviewing and updating our supplier contracts to include clauses regarding modern slavery and ethical standards.
   • Requiring suppliers to provide their own modern slavery statements where applicable.
    

4. Supplier Code of Conduct
   All suppliers are expected to adhere to a supplier code of conduct, which includes requirements for:
   • Prohibiting any form of modern slavery, human trafficking, or forced labour.
   • Providing safe and fair working conditions.
   • Paying workers fair wages in accordance with local laws and regulations.
    
5. Training and Awareness
   We provide ongoing training for our staff and suppliers to raise awareness of modern slavery risks and how to identify and prevent them. This includes:
   • Training sessions for employees in procurement and supply chain management where applicable.
   • Guidance on identifying red flags and reporting concerns related to modern slavery.
    
6. Reporting and Whistleblowing
   We have established clear reporting channels for anyone within our organisation or supply chain to report concerns related to modern slavery. All reports are taken seriously and are investigated promptly. Our whistleblowing policy ensures confidentiality and protects individuals from retaliation.
    
7. Continuous Improvement
   We are committed to continually reviewing and improving our practices to combat modern slavery. We regularly assess our risk management processes and collaborate with industry bodies to stay informed about emerging risks and best practices.
    
8. Board Approval
   This statement has been approved by the board of directors of ALM Electrical Solutions Ltd and will be reviewed annually to ensure ongoing compliance with the Modern Slavery Act.
