The BSW160 is ideal for use in multi battery systems on boats, cars, caravans and campervans, completly sealed. this unit can be mounted in harsh environments with no danger of water ingress to the key components

Constantly monitors vehicle battery state and charging rate to maintain optimum voltage in both batteries and switches charge from the vehicles alternator automatically between vehicle, auxilliary or both batteries running in parallel

Ideal for Automotive, Marine, Winches and 4x4's etc.

12/24V Input with a heavy duty 160A max load

Voltage Sensitive - self switches when optimum charging voltage is reached

Can be connected to the starter motor circuit to offer starter assistance - the relay connects the leisure battery and vehicle cranking battery in parallel to provide additional voltage when the vehicle battery is low.

Not like a conventional relay - this is micro processor controlled and constantly monitors the vehicles state of charge in order to prevent under charging of the vehicle battery and overcharging of the secondary battery, a Status LED can be wired to the unit to confirm it is charging if required.

If the vehicle is laid up for winter and the secondary battery connected up to a mains battery charger - This Battery separator will close and contact to the vehicle battery offering battery conditioning and charging to the vehicle battery - Ideal if the vehicle is laid up for long periods of time

Isolates the leisure battery from the vehicle battery when no charge is present - if the leisure battery goes flat, you'll still be able to get moving again!
